The HoTT Undergraduate Program
The undergraduate HoTT program focuses on the creation and interpretation of texts by combining practice in writing and editing with the study of cultural history and criticism. The program also invites students into the challenges of digital technology, visual culture, and the internet. History of Text Technologies students major within the English department’s newest track: “Editing, Writing, and Media” (debuting in fall 2009). For more information on the curriculum, see the department’s Editing, Writing, and Media site .
Listed on the undergraduate course page are courses in the new major that have been designed by, and will be taught by, HoTT faculty and affiliated faculty. As enrollments in the new major expand, some sections of these courses may be taught by graduate students in the HoTT doctoral program.
